Come to Me and Rest in My Love Devotional
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it.

Matthew 11:28-30—The Message
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
Jesus is saying, “know you’re already thinking about what today might bring—the challenges, the unknowns, the things you’re trying to work out before they even happen.”
But remember this: you don’t have to face today alone. Jesus—the I AM is with you. Always.
When you keep replaying tomorrow’s worries in your mind, you carry the weight of them again and again. You were never meant to live through your troubles before they arrive. Jesus says, “My grace will meet you in each moment, exactly when you need it.”
So don’t let fear steal the peace Jesus has for you today.
Come to Jesus. Breathe. Rest in His Presence.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. Allow for Jesus to strengthen your heart and prepare you for whatever the day holds. He will walk with you, steady you, and give you what you need—one moment at a time.
Let go of the “what if’s” and hold on to the great I AM.
Jesus is with you.
Jesus is for you.
He will not leave you.
Jesus Invitation:
“Come to Me and let My peace quiet your heart. Together, we will turn your fear into faith, courage, and confident trust.”

3. Where do I need to remind myself today that God is with me, even when I don’t know what’s ahead?
4. What fear can I replace with a simple truth or promise from God today?
5. If I fully trusted that Jesus would give me strength for each moment, how would I approach today differently?
