An Exciting Time for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the South Pacific
The vision is to mobilise God's people to use their voices, gifts, creativity, and digital platforms to share the everlasting gospel. The goal is not simply to create content, but to create connections—introducing people to Jesus and helping them take their next step toward Him.
"This is an exciting time for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the South Pacific,” said Pastor Pablo Lillo. “We have new initiatives that are changing the direction of the church. We’re more focused on mission than ever before."
Whereas pastors and lay preachers are travelling throughout the Pacific serving the Trans Pacific Union for TPUM for Christ, everyone can be involved in evangelism through OneVoice27.
At the heart of OneVoice27, is the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus the Saviour of the world. The One how loves, cares, forgives and offers eternal life. Today, there are approximately 3.40 billion people in the world who do not know Jesus. Many have never heard a clear presentation of the gospel. Some live in regions where Christian witness is limited. Others live in highly connected societies yet remain spiritually disconnected from God. While the challenge is immense, God has placed in our hands unprecedented opportunities to reach them. We have many opportunities before us within the territories of the South Pacific.
Never in human history has a single message been able to travel across the globe in seconds. Through social media, a testimony recorded in Sydney can be viewed in the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Tuvalu, Cook Islands, or Fiji within moments. A Bible verse, a short video, a personal story of faith, or an invitation to study Scripture can reach people who may never enter a church building. What previous generations could only dream of—God has made possible in our time.
